Make sure that the scoring wheel is properly rotated, and that the bottle support are adjusted correctly. If when you look at it from the front if the scoring wheel is pressing on the bottle even pressure should produce a perfect score. After that pour hot water over it, then go to cold and it should crack and you could be able to use your hands to separate it. That’s how I do it and I cut over a hundred bottles so far, I’m getting better and better with each one, and it is a very fast and efficient method.
